How to connect to L2Venus

01. Download The Client:
If you do not have the Lineage II Gracia client installed on your PC then you must first download it. Please click on the following link and select a site to download the client from:

02. Changing your Hosts File:
In order to connect to our server all you need to do is change your Hosts file IP. To do this go to C:/Windows/system32/drivers/etc you fine there the host file open it with note pad change it so that it looks like the following:

And save it

03. Replace your system folder:
You may download the system folder HERE.


Extract the folder into your Lineage II game folder. When it asks if your wish to overwrite your current system folder click "yes".

04. Starting the Game:
You should now be able to connect to our log in server. Go into your Lineage II System folder and run l2.exe. The client should now load and the log in screen will appear.

05. Creating an account:
Please note that accounts are auto created. Simply enter your account log in name and password and you will enter the world of L2Venus.

CAUTION: For security reasons do not set your account log in name as your character name and do not use a simple password. Never reveal your log in name or password to anyone. Passwords should be a mixture of letters and numbers and be 8 characters or more.

If you experience any problems (especially if you get a "wrong password" error at log in or you experience abnormally high ping then you can test if the hosts file redirects traffic correctly or not by opening Start, clicking on Run. and typing:cmd /k ping l2authd.lineage2.com

If it it says Pinging L2authd.lineage2.com [] Then the hosts file is working correctly.

If it shows a different ip, you can type this: cmd /k ipconfig /flushdns after that try pinging again to see if the IP changed.
